Rachel Somer-Bruce

Hello! My name is Rachel Somer-Bruce. I am 34 years old and go by the pronouns she\her. I am a wife to a very supportive husband, and a mother of one amazing son, and one very spoiled fur baby. I love spending time with my family and friends, talking over a cup of coffee and some good tunes.

I have always felt most at home helping those around me. In the past I have worked in the human service field, both in the state of Illinois and Minnesota, and I am always amazed by the power behind a single person looking to make a change.

A Single Ember has been a passion project for both my co-founder and I for a very long time. I am beyond excited to share our amazing journey with everyone and to meet people with a similar compassion and drive to help support this beautiful community.
